Sexuality & Intimacy
Wellness typically focuses on nutrition, fitness, sleep, health, but sex is usually not considered. A fulfilling sex life is healthy and natural! Unfortunately it is not always welcomed or widely discussed, which can make individuals and couples suffer in silence. Physical and emotional intimacy are essential parts of your well-being. When sexual dysfunction occurs, having that fulfilling sex life can be difficult. Some sexual difficulties may be associated with- pain, aging, intimacy, eroticism, desire, sexual orientation, sexual styles, infidelity, and medical factors.
Sex therapy can help work through these issues by evaluating experiences, worries, and feelings. Sex therapy may be able to help you reframe your sexual challenges and increase your sexual satisfaction. The goal is to help people (at any age) move past physical and emotional challenges in order to have a satisfying relationship and pleasurable sex life.
